Do you use safe, eco-friendly solvents?

Yes. We use green-certified solvents that are gentler on fabrics, safer for your skin, and better for the environment than the older perchloroethylene (perc) systems.

Can you remove tough stains like wine, oil, or ink?

In most cases, yes. We hand-treat every stain individually with the right solvent for the fabric and stain type. The sooner you bring it in, the better the results.

What fabrics can you clean?

Wool, silk, cashmere, linen, rayon, polyester, cotton, suede, leather, and most blends. We adjust our process for each fabric.

Will dry cleaning shrink or fade my clothes?

No. Dry cleaning uses solvent rather than water, so fabrics do not swell, shrink, or bleed. We test colorfastness on anything we are unsure about before treating the full garment.

Yes, our tailors are experienced with leather, suede, and faux-leather garments using specialized needles and techniques on every leather job.

What should I bring to my fitting?

Bring the garment and the shoes you plan to wear with it (especially for hems). For dresses, bring any undergarments you will be wearing on the day.

Wedding Gown Cleaning & Preservation

How soon after the wedding should I clean my gown?

As soon as possible — ideally within 2-4 weeks. Even invisible stains from champagne, sweat, or sugar-based spills will oxidize and turn brown over time.

Can you remove red wine, lipstick, or grass stains?

Yes — we successfully remove approximately 95% of stains, including red wine, champagne, lipstick, makeup, grass, mud, blood, and food.

Is dry cleaning safe for delicate beadwork, lace, and silk?

Absolutely. We hand-clean every gown using gentle eco-friendly solvents specifically chosen for delicate bridal fabrics.

How long does wedding gown preservation take?

Standard cleaning is typically ready in 2-3 weeks. Full museum-quality preservation, including the archival box and sealed viewing window, takes 4-6 weeks.

What does wedding gown preservation actually do?

Preservation cleans your gown, then carefully folds and packs it with acid-free tissue inside a sealed, archival-quality box that blocks light, air, dust, and humidity.

Can I store my wedding dress at home in a garment bag instead?

We do not recommend it. Plastic garment bags trap moisture and off-gas chemicals that can yellow fabric. A sealed acid-free preservation box solves all of these issues.

How much does wedding gown cleaning and preservation cost?

Cleaning typically starts around $179, and full cleaning + museum preservation typically starts around $329. We provide an exact written quote in person at drop-off.

Do you offer pickup and delivery for wedding gowns?

No. We sort darks from lights, wash in your preferred temperature, and use the dryer setting you choose. We can air-dry or low-heat-dry sensitive items.

How long does household cleaning take?

Most household orders are ready in 4-7 business days. Larger or specialty items may take a few days longer.
