Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the services offered by Royal Dry Cleaners ("we," "us," or "our"), located at 402 N. Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
Acceptance of Terms
By using our website, dropping off garments at our location, or scheduling pickup and delivery services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.
Service Description
Royal Dry Cleaners provides professional garment care services including, but not limited to:
- Dry cleaning of garments, suits, dresses, coats, and specialty items
- Laundry services including wash-and-fold and shirt laundering
- Alterations and tailoring
- Wedding gown cleaning and preservation
- Leather and suede cleaning
- Household items including comforters, drapes, and table linens
- Free pickup and delivery within our service area
Garment Care & Liability
While we exercise the utmost care in handling your garments, certain inherent risks exist in the cleaning process. By entrusting your items to us, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Color Bleeding & Fading: Some dyes are not colorfast and may bleed, fade, or change during the cleaning process. We are not responsible for color loss resulting from unstable or fugitive dyes used by the garment manufacturer.
- Pre-Existing Damage: We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions including, but not limited to, weakened fibers, deteriorated fabrics, latent stains, insect damage, or normal wear and tear that may become apparent during the cleaning process.
- Trim, Buttons & Embellishments: Decorative elements such as buttons, beads, sequins, buckles, and other trims may not withstand the cleaning process. We will make reasonable efforts to protect these items but cannot guarantee they will remain unaffected.
- Care Labels: We follow the care instructions provided by the garment manufacturer. We are not responsible for damage resulting from inaccurate or missing care labels.
- Shrinkage & Texture Changes: Certain fabrics may experience minor shrinkage or texture changes during cleaning, particularly natural fibers. We follow industry best practices to minimize these effects.
Customers are encouraged to point out any stains, damage, or concerns at the time of drop-off so we can document them and provide appropriate care.
Pricing
Prices for our services are available at our store location and upon request. We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time without prior notice. Special pricing or promotional offers are valid only for the specified period and may be subject to additional terms. Additional charges may apply for heavily soiled, stained, or oversized items, or items requiring special handling.
Pickup & Delivery Terms
We offer free pickup and delivery within our designated service area. By using our pickup and delivery service, you agree to the following:
- Items must be ready for pickup at the scheduled time and in a clearly accessible location.
- We will make reasonable efforts to adhere to scheduled pickup and delivery times; however, times are estimates and not guaranteed.
- We are not responsible for items left unattended after delivery unless specific arrangements have been made.
- Minimum order requirements may apply for pickup and delivery services.
Unclaimed Items
Garments and items not claimed within ninety (90) days of the completed service date will be considered abandoned. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before disposing of unclaimed items. After the 90-day period, we reserve the right to donate or dispose of unclaimed items at our discretion, and no liability shall attach for such disposition.
Limitation of Liability
In the event that an item is lost or damaged due to our negligence, our liability shall not exceed ten (10) times the cleaning charge for the item, or the fair market value of the item at the time of loss (accounting for age, wear, and condition), whichever is less. We are not responsible for consequential, incidental, or special damages.
All claims for lost or damaged items must be made within seven (7) days of the delivery or pickup date. Claims made after this period may not be honored. We reserve the right to inspect any item for which a claim has been made.
Intellectual Property
All content on the cleanroyal.com website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Royal Dry Cleaners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
